The pink city!!

Men in colouful turbans, women clad in red, bandni sarees with the pallu covering their head, buildings constructed deliberately in pink, camels walking casually in the roads, monsterous lorries that look unusually bright with red and orange colour, some masti Hindi songs played in most of the autos. This is all you would see, as you just step into the city of pink. Yes, it is Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan.
An abode of desert, the city is supposed to be bright and sunny, But, the day was overcasted and was pleasant. Thanks to the onset of monsoon in Delhi, the capital city, which is of 6-hour travel from Jaipur. People were colourful, mainly because of their attire, which was normally pink and red. The girls were mostly plumpy, with their rosy cheeks and dimple chins. Wonder who said the state is a desert!
The mall culture didnt spare the city too, as you could see pompous malls filled with people everywhere. Shopping could be a fun in Jaipur, as you could get a whole lot of stuffs with unimaginable prices. Forts and palaces speaking the buried stories of the Rajput empires stand gigantically in the heart of the city luring a number of tourists to the spot. The city is worth seeing.
