Likes and dislikes in Chennai

Likes:

Beach, temples, shopping, December music season, spencer, eat-outs (idli, dosa, vada, sambhar), central station.

Dislikes:

Traffic, pollution, bus, crowd, heavily-charging autos and sultry heat.

Five matters that irritates me the most

1. Waking me up from deep sleep or else disturb me by creating noise or chit-chatting .

2. Persons who keep on speaking endlessely without even bothering whether that subject interests me or not. Boring people.

3. When someone intrudes into my personal space or else dominates me telling what to do and what not to do.

4. When someone takes too much advantage of my submissive nature.

5. Pretensions.

If only life has a rewind button..

On a holiday today. Feeling lethargic and tired. Mother is busily preparing for the puja in the evening. Day is dull. It seems my friends are also so busy. Didnt hear from anybody for a long period. Missing an old friend terribly. Was watching Titanic today. Was thinking how many times I would have watched that movie. At least a dozen times? Must be!! But, its insatiable. I felt the intensity of love in that movie.

Still reading Erich Segal's novel. The blurb is quite interesting. Its a story about five ex-Harvard students, who meet up for their re-union. Its about a generation of people, their glittering successes, heartfelt tragedies and unbridled ambitions. A touching and sentimental novel, which takes back to your old college days. I was taken down the memory lane to my college period. Wow!! they were the most beautiful days. We five were a gang. Now everyone are shattered in the vagaries of life. Lost a friend 'A' last month. Felt heart-broken. She was an amalgamation of beauty and talent. Didnt know why she took to hell. Life sometimes become difficult. I pray for her soul to rest in peace. Now time to get back to the novel.
